About Hospice

Hospice care is a special type of care that focuses on quality of life and provides relief from the symptoms of serious illness. Comfort care including pain management, relief from shortness of breath, nausea and other symptoms become the priority. When aggressive/curative care no longer seems appropriate a patient along with their family, caregivers, and medical team may opt to forgo aggressive care and instead may choose hospice care. Butterfly Hospice Care will provide care wherever you call home; whether that is a residence, a skilled nursing facility, or an assisted living.
